¹⁹ The ·followers [disciples] did what Jesus told them to do, and they prepared the Passover meal.

²⁰ In the evening Jesus was ·sitting at the table [^Lreclining; ^Cthe posture for a banquet] with his twelve ·followers [disciples]. ²¹ As they were eating, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will ·turn against [betray] me.”
